WHO CAN JOIN?
Chartered in 1931, the St. Joseph Teachers' Credit Union is proud to serve full-time employees of the parochial schools of St. Joseph, MO; Full-time employees of Missouri Western State College; Employees of this credit union; Full-time employees of Savannah R-3 School District; Employees of Missouri Gas Energy of St. Joseph, MO; Full-time employees of United Parcel Service of St. Joseph, MO; Full-time employees of the East-Buchanan School District; Full-time employees of the Mid-Buchanan School District; Members of the Retired Teachers Association of St. Joseph, MO; Full-time employees of such other groups that request services of the credit union as approved by the St. Joseph Teachers' Credit Union board of directors and the Missouri Division of Credit Unions; and Family members of all listed above.
FAMILY MEMBERSHIP
St. Joseph Teachers' Credit Union encourages family members to join. The benefits of credit union membership are not limited just to you. The credit union is a wonderful place for your children to learn about savings, your brother or sister to get a low cost loan, your parents to build their retirement nest egg, or to save for your grandchildren.
HOW CAN I JOIN?
To become a member of St. Joseph Teachers' Credit Union, all that is needed is a deposit of at least $25.00 into your share account, and a one-time membership fee of $1.00. This initial deposit establishes your membership/ownership in the credit union.
ONCE A MEMBER, ALWAYS A MEMBER
Once you are a member of the credit union, you remain a member for life, whether you move, change jobs, or retire, as long as you maintain at least a $25.00 balance (one share) in your share account.
